Pride and Prejudice Anniversary Party Blog Hop!

WOW! Today is the 200th Anniversary of the publication of Pride and Prejudice! I'm sure Jane Austen would have never imaged her book would be so loved 200 years later!

So, today we are partying with Alyssa Goodnight (BTW, her book Austensibly Ordinary will be release tomorrow!!) and Courtney Webb of Stiletto Storytime in the Pride and Prejudice 200th Anniversary Party Blog Hop!

Pride and Prejudice is my favorite book of Jane Austen, and I have read it many times. I love Elizabeth and Darcy! I really love to read spin-offs, especially what-if or variations of Pride and Prejudice. I never seem to tire of my favorite couple. I will take them in a modern setting or regency, but I think I prefer regency. There is something about the chase that I love!

Thank you, Jane, for giving us such wonderful stories to read and characters to play with!

What's a party without some gifts? And what a better way to celebrate than with a giveaway. Thanks to Jessica Grey 2 lucky readers have a chance to win an e-copy of her new Austenesque book Attempting Elizabeth. Follow this link to read my review and fill out the Rafflecopter form

After you do that, join the rest of Pride and Prejudice Anniversary Party Blog Hop for more fun and giveaways!

Another fun fact, this is my 100th blog post!! WooHoo!

  2. Congrats on your 100th blog post, Candy! That's wonderful! I too usually prefer Regency variations because, with all the societal restrictions, the ladies and gents have to work that much harder to get to the HEA.

I think that's why I like regency variations more too.
