W... W... W... Wednesday ~ May 8, 2013

W... W... W... Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by MizB of Should be Reading. To play along, just answer the following questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you'll read next?

What am I currently reading? I am currently reading Highlander's Hope by Collette Cameron. I'm just starting this one, actually.

What did I recently finish reading? I read two books this week! I haven't done that in a while. I just finished reading Bluebells in the Mourning by KaraLynn Mackrory, and before that I read ...to end all wars by Gail McEwen. I loved both of them!!

What do I think I'll be reading next? My plan is to read Always the Baker Finally the Bride by Sandra D. Bricker. This is the fourth and final book in the series. I was hoping to read a least one of the previous books before this one, but I haven't had a chance. Too many other book obligations.

What are you reading?

  1. Hi I love the sound of Bluebells in Mourning. Jane Austen retellings are often wonderful. Thanks for alerting me to this. I'm a new follower via Bloglovin.

    1. Hi Gwynneth! Glad to have you here! Yes, Austen retellings are one of my favorite reads, and Bluebells in the Mourning was fantastic! I hope you get a chance to read it. :)

  2. Hi Candy! The last thing I read was Let's Pretend by Monique De Vere which was a nice enough bit of chick lit.

I am between books at the moment, not sure what I fancy reading. I thought I had an unread Abigail Reynolds on my kindle, What Would Mr Darcy do but it turns out that I read it a while back so I was able to buy another by her with a clear conscience! I just spent the last of the voucher I had for my kindle on To Conquer Mr Darcy by her and a book called "Love, Lies and Lizzy" by Rosie Rushton, which is a modern take on P&P. so I think I might read those next.

I am very, very tempted to get Bluebells in the Mourning!

    1. HI Ceri! I've read your review on goodreads of "Let's Pretend". It sounds really cute - like something I'd love to read!

I've never read "Love, Lies, and Lizzy" but I had my eye on it a while back. I had forgotten all about it! Thanks for bringing it back to my attention, and let me know what you think. :)

Yes! I think you would like Bluebells!!

  3. The last book I read was Improper Pleasures by Cheryl Howe. I got into it much more than I thought I would at the beginning. It's a regency romance (with some spicy adult content ;)

I'm also getting ready to start Collette Cameron's book! And I had hoped to have read The Mysterious Death of Mr Darcy before this weekend but it remains to be seen. At least I can get it signed when Angie K & Evie & I road trip to see her at the Ohioana book festival Saturday! I just saw that KaraLynne Mackrory is scheduled to be there as well so I will likely come home with a copy of Bluebells in the Mourning.

I can't wait to hear what you think of Collette's book.
