W... W... W... Wednesdays ~ September 18, 2013

W... W... W... Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by MizB of Should be Reading. To play along, just answer the following questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you'll be reading next?

What am I currently reading?  I'm currently reading Fitzwilliam Darcy such I was by Carol Cromlin. I'm only about 10 percent into it, so I can't really say how it's going yet.

What did I recently finish reading?  I recently finished reading The Heart Does Whisper by Cynthia Ingram Hensley. I loved it! I loved seeing how Sean and Catie's first year of marriage was! There are some great secondary characters in this story! It was a fun read! I'll have a review up on Monday, and there'll be a giveaway!

What do I think I'll be reading next? Next up I hope to be reading The Red Chrysanthemum by Linda Beutler. "Pride and Prejudice and the language of flowers..." Sounds interesting!

What are you reading?

  1. Fun books all with interesting covers: hands, feet and a chest, put them together and we have an odd-looking body! My WWW: http://gwynnethwhite.blogspot.co.uk/

  3. I remember seeing The Red Chrysanthemum mentioned on the Meryton Press site (I think) awhile back but I could never find a blurb or summary of what it was about.

I'm still reading Pride & Platypus, and I started Finding Colin Firth, but it's due back at the library tomorrow and if they don't let me renew it again, I'm kinda screwed lol. I'm only about 25 pgs or so into it.

I really want to read Echoes of Pemberley, and I just won Kara Louise's Master Under Good Regulation. And The Seduction of Lady Phoebe. And there's Marilyn Brant's new book. Ahh, where to find more time?! lol

    1. Hey Monica! Yes, The Red Chrysanthemum is a Meryton Press book. I hope you saw that the title is linked to Amazon, and you can read the book blurb there.

LOL! I hope they let you renew Finding Colin Firth! :)

Wow! You did get a nice haul! I have Master Under Good Regulation, but I've never read it. Do you have Marilyn's new book? I want to read that one too! :)

    2. I'll definitely have to check out the amazon link for The Red Chrysanthemum - when I saw it, it was just a title that said "coming soon" with no other information. I was like grrr!

Marilyn sent me a PDF of the new book in exchange for some feedback I gave earlier in the process, and I've had a bear of a time trying to get it to download to kindle but I finally got it!

    3. Oh yeah...I dislike putting a PDF on my kindle. A word doc is easier. I would rather NOT get a PDF file, but when I do I just read them from my iPad.

Can't wait to hear what you think of Marilyn's book! :)

  4. I hope to read The Heart Does Whisper next - hearing your praise makes me even more eager! I'm looking forward to The Red Chrysanthemum too -although I'll probably get to it in October. :)

Kudos to you Ceri, for attempting DCTP again! Good luck!

What a nice haul you got, Monica! :)

    Happy Reading all!

    1. Hi Meredith! My reading time has slowed down a bunch, so it may be a week or so before I actually get to The Red Chrysanthemum. I'm looking forward to reading all the flowery metaphors! ;)

      Happy Reading to you, too!
