W... W... W... Wednesday ~ March 19, 2014

W... W... W... Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by MizB of Should be Reading. To play along, just answer the following questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you'll read next?

What am I currently reading? I am just beginning The Maze Runner (Book 1) by James Dashner. My daughter loves this series and really wanted me to read it. So I am! :) I'm kinda of on a dystopian kick right now, so I'm looking forward to it. I'll let you know how I like it!

What did I recently finish reading? I finished reading Consequences by C.P. Odom. It was really good! I should have a review up in a week or so.

What do I think I'll read next? Most likely I will be reading The Scorch Trials (Maze Runner, Book 2) by James Dashner.

    1. Hi Meredith! I agree! That first half was heart-wrenching! It's interesting seeing both sides of the coin though. Of course, I prefer the happier side! :D Can't wait to hear your thoughts too!

    1. Hi Tamara! How are you enjoying In the Arms of Mr Darcy? My favorite story in Pemberley Medley is Intermezzo! Love that story! Thanks! I've been so busy lately is hard to find time to write my reviews!

    2. A little disappointed as the first 10 chapters (50% of the book) are from the book that preceded it! Not sure why? Intermezzo is my favourite too, nearly finished the review so hard not give anything away with short stories lol Happy reading!

  3. Hey Candy! The last thing I read was 'Love at First Slight' by J Marie Croft, which I really enjoyed. I am allegedly reading Joanna Trollope's update of Sense and Sensibility, but I'm avoiding it really! I think I will start 'Stealing the Preacher' by Karen Witemeyer next. Enjoy your reading everybody!

    2. Oo which one Tamara? I have put a review of LaFS on my blog, click on my name and it has a link to the blog there. I am not sure how long it will be before I am in a position to review JT's S&S, I am not feeling the love for it so far, the characters are more annoying than I expected!

    3. Hey Ceri! I didn't even know you had a blog! Just went over there. Nice! Couldn't find a place to follow your blog, but I followed you on bloglovin though.

    4. I started in in January but I don't really know what I'm doing, so I've not pushed it. I'm still tweaking it! thought it would be nice to have a place to keep all my reviews together and I'm trying to plan my reading this year so I can get to those books at the bottom of the TBR! I will take a look at bloglovin, as I'm not familiar with it as a blog newbie :)

    5. Ceri your blog is great and so are your reviews! Fanfiction's book reviews is not an Austenesque blog but she has reviewed JT's S&S it is so funny!!!

  4. I didn't know Ceri had a blog either! Lol I guess I technically have a Blogger site but i've never used it.

I'm reading Kara Louise's Master Under Good Regulation right now. It's really cute. Haven't been able to read much the last few days, though.

When I wrote my review for Consequences, I could barely remember anything that happened in the second part!

Not sure what book is up next for me. I've been wanting to read Mary Simonsen's newest one, and Cassandra Grafton's trilogy.

    1. I've kept pretty quiet about it, wanted to see if I'd manage to keep posting! I hope to read the Cassandra Grafton trilogy soon too.

    1. I feel like it's going to be hard to write the review for Consequences without giving anything away. :/

I really enjoyed the A Fair Prospect trilogy too! Love the last book!

    2. Yes Candy I agree it was hard to write! it is in my last paragraph that I say "I fear or should I say I know, I have told you nothing of the book" Good luck!
