W... W... W... Wednesdays ~ June 4, 2014

W... W... W... Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by MizB of Should be Reading. To play along, just answer the following questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you'll read next?

What am I currently reading?
I'm reading The Earl's Enticement by Collette Cameron. It's really good! I like how it's covering the last bit of the first book, but we are seeing Adaira side of the story, and then the book goes further into Adaira and Roark's story. I like her feisty personality!

What did I recently finish reading?
I finished reading Haunting Mr. Darcy by KaraLynne Mackrory. I loved it, and I hope to have my review up in the next couple of weeks. (I'm so behind on writing them! Yikes!)

What do I think I'll read next? Again, I'm not sure. I really need to get some reviews done before I read anymore....but I'm really craving some dystopian. I'll let you know next week what I decided on! ;)

What are you reading? I'd love to hear!

  2. I feel like my WWWs are the same for like a month at a time lol!

I last read Th Earl's Enticement, and I really liked it. Her books are so much fun to read.

I'm currently reading House of Aegea. I'm not very far into it but I'm liking it! The mermaid mythology history and world-building is fascinating and colorful.

I'm not sure what I'll read after that - so many books have been languishing on my tbr for way too long! Im thinking of putting it to a vote and letting someone else decide. Lol

    1. Monica, I vote for "The Monster at the End of the Book" starring Grover. It is a Little Golden Book and a certified hoot to read. I am sure, with having an accident prone nephew, it is somewhere languishing in your TBR pile and should be moved to the top. That is my vote.

    2. I LOVE that book! That was one of my favorites as a kid!

    3. Mine too and I'm a 57 year old grandma. That is my best suggestion.

    4. Hey Monica! I agree! Colette's books are fun to read! So far, I think I like this one as much or better than the first. I like Adaira's character. I like Roark too!

This is our first full week of summer break and I've been getting some cleaning done, thinking I would have more time to read later in the week. Unfortunately, I haven't got as far as I wanted and I'm wearing myself out! I had to take a nap today! ha! Maybe I should just forget the cleaning and read! ;)

Let's see the top five of your TBR pile, and we'll put it to a vote! =)

  3. I received a nice tweet from Stephanie for winning the eBook. Have you heard from the other winner so I can send her copy on its way?

    1. No, I haven't heard from Lori yet. Maybe I'll see if I can find her on twitter. If not, I may have to pick a new winner. I'll give her a few more days first.

  4. My reading has gone out the window, I had planned reads for June as I have reviews to do, however after seeing books mentioned on Twitter I have been purchasing like crazy and reading stuff not on my list. Just finished the 4th in the lux series, reading Frigid and just finished Risky surrender and none of them are JAFF! I actually cannot believe i've given any other type of book the light of day lol

    1. I hear you, Tamara. I really like your reviews. You are kind and thorough and do not give anything away. I had a review post on Amazon yesterday or the day before that in one long paragraph gave cliff notes and spoilers of the whole book. Then she left two sentences about what she thought. It was so considerate of her to offer her comment, but now, you don't need to read it. Sigh! Please keep up the good work.

    2. Hi Tamara! I took a couple of months off from reading JAFF. Started reading it again recently, and have been enjoying it, but I have some other books calling my name right now, too! It's good to mix it up! ;)

Like Joy, I enjoy your reviews too! =)
