That's about it for this month. School started this month, so I've been busy homeschooling one and chauffeuring the other to school and back.

Have a great September, and let me know in the comments how your August was! :)

  1. I've heard good things about Code Name Verity and actually purchased the audiobook for my sister who really enjoys that time period.
Home schooling one would keep you busy but I am thinking it would be rewarding.

    1. Hi, Kathryn! Oh! Code Name Verity was so good! Emotional too. It's one of those stories that sticks with you.

Yes, I think homeschooling is great! It can be challenging, but yes, it's rewarding! :) Sometimes I wish my high schooler was still home, but I don't really want that responsibility. She likes it there and is doing well. :)

    1. Thanks, Pat! I wanted to get more reading done before school started, but summer just flew by! Yikes! I'm definitely looking forward to cooler weather. It's been so hot here in Southern California.

  4. August was a weird month. I was busy, but don't feel like I got a lot done. :) I did read a few good books to beat the heat. Nice to see you got in a few, too.

Hope you're having a nice start to school.

    1. Hi, Sophia Rose! Oh, I feel the same way! Every day was filled with stuff to do, but nothing I can recall! Lol! At least that's what it felt like! I do have to confess that I watched more Netflix at night when I usually am reading. So, that didn't help. I'm obsessed with the show Parenthood! There are so many different storylines going on, and I always feel like I need to watch the next episode! Oh, brother.

School is going great! I'm pretty happy with it so far. Thanks!
