What Are You Reading? ~ August 17, 2016

What are you Reading?  Let me know what your current read is, what you recently finish reading, and what you plan on reading next!

Here's my list:

I'm currently reading Darcy and Elizabeth: A Promise Kept by Brenda J. Webb. I've just begun, but it's good so far!

I finished reading Graduation Day (The Testing, Book 3) by Joelle Charbonneau. It was good, but the first was the best of the series. Although I took too many breaks with listening to the first half on the road a month ago, to putting it down to watch the Olympics that I would lose the flow of the story.

What's next? I'm not sure! Like all of you, I have a few books that are begging to be read! ;)

  1. I loved "A Promise Kept." Aside from reading on the forums, I currently have Courage Rises- Melanie Rachel, The Rainbow Promise - Lory Lilian, & The Marrying Maid - Jo Beverley all loaded into my Kindle.

    1. Hi, Jen! So far, I'm enjoying 'A Promise Kept', too! I spent some of my free time this afternoon reading it instead of commenting on my blog! Lol!

  2. I want to read A Promise Kept, too. Right now I'm reading a thriller The Lie by CL Taylor. It's starting slow, but hopefully it will pick up.

  4. The Testing series sounds really good. I had never heard of this series or this author before, but you must like it if you made it to book 3. :)

The Olympics have messed with my schedule too. Darn these talented athletes with their inspirational stories!

    1. Hi, Denise! It was good. I'd probably give the whole series a 4 rating.

Haha! You gotta love the Olympics though! ;)

  5. Commenting success! I'm guessing 'Darcy and Elizabeth' is a continuation of 'Pride and Prejudice?' Looks like a fun read. Happy reading!

    1. Lol, Sam! Thanks for checking that out for me! 'Darcy and Elizabeth' is a retelling of P&P - not canon at all. Retellings/Variations are my favorite type of P&P fanfiction. :) And I'm enjoying it! Happy reading to you, too!
