I'm working on a shirt for me. It's been a while since I've made anything for myself, and I wanted to make sure of the fit before I cut into the fabric I want to use. Today I finished sewing up the shirt in some cheap fabric I had (I cut it out weeks ago!). I did have to make some adjustments, but it's going to work just fine! I'll post a picture of the finished product, but don't hold your breath! It could take a while! ;)Candy @ So little time...https://www.blogger.com/profile/05308027187577034357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6650768524127186637.post-92069786370383179542015-04-01T14:30:56.778-07:002015-04-01T14:30:56.778-07:00Candy and Ceri - I feel about sewing machines the ...Candy and Ceri - I feel about sewing machines the way I do snakes and Brussels sprouts. So, I admire anyone who can eat those vegetables and act like they enjoy it, touch a reptile, and sit themselves in front of a machine and make something good come of it. I'm not reading it for the blog tour though.
I have to get over to check out your Planned Reading for April post to see all your lovely books! :)
I never seem to have time to sew anymore. I wish I did! I feel so rusty at it now. It's one of my goals for this Spring Break - to sew something!! And look, half the day is gone and I haven't started yet. :/Candy @ So little time...https://www.blogger.com/profile/05308027187577034357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6650768524127186637.post-142570864312615902015-04-01T12:41:33.646-07:002015-04-01T12:41:33.646-07:00Hi Candy! Next up is a contemporary romance, 'Reconciled for Easter' because it's Easter this weekend so why not?! I have loads of reading I want to get done this month, goodness knows whether I'll manage it. I hope you enjoy your sewing, I would have absolutely no clue how to sew, I wish I did :(Cerihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01908542708518435282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6650768524127186637.post-44478696141426145502015-04-01T10:13:11.653-07:002015-04-01T10:13:11.653-07:00Hi Joy! I just added it! :)

Congratulations! 10 days at #1! That's fantastic! Twins! Yikes, that can be a huge distraction from doing anything! ;) I'm glad to hear you're writing as well! That's always good!

I picked up a copy of Mary's new short story yesterday too. I may have to read it some time today. My plan for today is to sew. Nothing special, it's been a while since I've sewn anything for my self, so I'm going to see what I can get done. ;) Candy @ So little time...https://www.blogger.com/profile/05308027187577034357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6650768524127186637.post-73240884861890356422015-04-01T09:23:53.525-07:002015-04-01T09:23:53.525-07:00March was amazing for me in the writing department...March was amazing for me in the writing department. Not so much in the reading department. I did read Mary Lydon Simonsen's short story yesterday. It took about 1/2 an hour from start to finish. It was the perfect appetizer size that I needed. I did read my daughter's book, Darcy's Ultimatum. Can a mother be any more proud? 10 days at #1. Jennifer is burning up the keyboard for her book 2 and I keep prodding her to not get distracted. However, with twins - she's distracted.

Oh good grief! I forgot. I read Pansy Cottage by Barbara Silkstone. Laughed until I snorted. What a hoot!J "Joy" Dawn Kinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01213256587046816281noreply@blogger.com
