Hey, friends! I didn't think I was going to post again this week because I have a cold. I felt terrible yesterday, but I'm feeling better today. Not a hundred percent, but enough that I thought I could put this post together!



Currently Reading:

I'm back into Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen. My reading group is coming up soon, and I need to have this one finished. I am enjoying it much more than the first time I read it! :)







Recently Finished:

I recently finished reading The Way You Make Me Feel by Maurene Goo. It's a cute, fun read about friendship, food, and LA! It's also a quick read. 4 stars.







All I pretty much read in January was Harry Potter. I love those books! I could start rereading them all over again right now. LOL! ;)  -  Instead of listing each book, I'm posting my January wrap-up picture. 

As you can see, I also finished reading The Outlaw's Mail Order Bride by Linda Broday. It was great! I hope to have a review up soon!


What's next? 

I want to read The Last Letter by Rebecca Yarros. I know, I know, I've said this before! But I'm do want to read it. I was just a little obsessed with Harry Potter.

What are you Reading?  Let me know what your current read is, what you recently finished reading, and what you plan on reading next! 

Happy New Year, my friends! Wow, it's 2019! That's crazy! Lol! I took a couple weeks off from the blog for the holidays. I've been doing some easy reading, too. I hope you had a very merry Christmas, and I wish you all the best in the new year! 

So, what have you been reading? Here's my list: 

I'm currently re-reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling. Yes, I'm loving it. I really needed to read something easy, comforting, and fun to escape the busyness of the holidays!

I'm also re-reading Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen for the Jane Austen reading group that I belong to.








Since my last post I've finished:

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling.

The Paper Magician by Charlie N. Holmberg. I listen to the audio while I was traveling! It was very good!

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K Rowling. What's there to say about Harry Potter, I love all the books in the series! 

A Short Period of Exquisite Felicity by A D'Orazio. I enjoyed this! Lots of obstacles to overcome! I was sad that I didn't like my favorite secondary character (Colonel Fitzwilliam) in this story. 4 stars







What's next? 

I have a book to read for review from NetGalley called The Last Letter by Rebecca Yarros. It looks really good!

I still have to update all of my challenges and start new ones! I also want to change up a few things, but I'm still thinking about that. I'm looking forward to a great year of reading and hopefully reviewing! :)

Wow! I can’t believe I waited so long to read this book! I've had my eye on it for a couple of years now. Shame on me for waiting so long, because I loved it! ...to end all wars is so much more than a romance! It’s a stirring tale of life, love and the hardship of war.

The year is 1917, and David Bellamy is off to war. He is leaving his high school sweetheart, Angela, behind with promises to return to her. While in France David meets Sophie Montigny, a young war widow. What begins as a friendship quickly becomes much more. A deeper more intense love, with more passion than he ever felt with Angela. But letters from Angela serve as reminders that life with Sophie is impossible. 

David volunteers to go on a mission that will take him to the front lines of the war. The assignment is not an easy one, but it keeps his mind from thinking of Sophie.

...to end all wars is a raw look at life of a young man going to war. With horrific details of life for a WWI soldier; cold and wet, bugs and rodents, trenches dug in what looks like massive graves. What it’s like to face death, and then feeling guilty if you survived. And in the midst of it all is a lovely romance.

I really enjoyed this story!  ...to end all wars is a well written, fast paced, historical romance that I highly recommend!
