W... W... W... Wednesday ~ May 22, 2013

W... W... W... Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by MizB of Should be Reading. To play along, just answer the following questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you'll read next?

I didn't get as much reading done this week. I was back home for a long weekend. My Great Aunt and Uncle celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary over the weekend! There was dinner and dancing on Saturday night, and a brunch on Sunday. I had a blast visiting with family and friends.

What am I currently reading? I am currently reading Always the Baker, Finally the Bride by Sandra D. Bricker. These are really cute books, but I might have made a mistake reading so many of them at the same time! I have to post a review for this one on Monday, so I need to get it read! I do love Emma Rae and Jackson, and the focus is back on them in this book. I'm very happy about that!

What did I recently finish reading? I finished Always the Wedding Planner, Never the Bride by Sandra D. Bricker before we left. This story focuses on the new wedding planner at the Tanglewood Hotel. I like this one, but not as much as the first.

What do I think I'll be reading next?  I'm not sure...I think Rosings by Karen Aminadra is up next. This Pride and Prejudice Spin-off focuses on Anne de Bourgh. I hope poor Anne gets away from her over-bearing mother!

What are you reading?

  1. Poor Anne! Yes, she really pulled the short straw there. It was time someone wrote a story for her. I hope the hero is handsome and rich!

    Fun books this week.

  3. Do you know if Rosings is a sequel to Karen's first book or can it stand alone? I have the first one on my kindle but I haven't read it yet.

I'm finally reading The Mysterious Death of Mr Darcy. I'm about a third through and I like it. D&E are in honeymoon mode and Regina's mysteries usually keep me guessing til the end and I like that.

Next after that will be Bluebells in the Mourning and probably Dan Brown's Inferno. I was really looking forward to it coming out because I liked the DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons but once my library copy came in I was like meh, do I really feel like reading this? lol

    1. Hi Monica! I don't know if Rosings is a sequel. Hmmm...I was thinking no, but Charlotte is at Rosings so it could be.

I'm not sure when I'll get to The Mysterious Death of Mr. Darcy. I'll be on the look out for your review!!

I think you'll love Bluebells!! Happy reading!

I can't wait for school to be over! I have so much to read, too!! I told the kids, the first week off all we are going to do is read!! They weren't too excited about that. Haha! Until I said, ok, I would just be the one reading - but they had to leave me alone!! LOL! Can't wait!

  7. I have a feeling that Rosings is a follow on to the other one, but could well be wrong.

Well I am currently reading 'When They Fall in Love' by Mary Lydon Simonsen. I like it, although I find it a bit sad that they've been separated for 7 years. I am also reading 'The Proposal' by Katie Ashley (chick lit). It is ok, although some of the stuff that has happened doesn't quite make sense to me.

Next up I have the 3 Appearance of Goodness books by Maria Grace. I also have two books that belong to somebody else so I should really read those ASAP, 'Death Comes to Pemberley' which I started reading in January(!) and Me and Mr Darcy by Alexandra Potter. And like Angie, I also have Karen Cox's books waiting for me. So much choice!

    1. Hi Ceri! Looks like you have plenty of good books to read, maybe you should walk away from 'Death Comes to Pemberley'. LOL!
