What are you Reading? ~ Mar. 25, 2015

"What are you Reading?" is my weekly Wednesday meme! You are welcome to join me, just answer the following questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you'll be reading next?

What am I currently reading? I'm currently reading The Houseguest: A Pride and Prejudice Vagary by Elizabeth Adams. I'm loving this! I really like the way Ms. Adams writes! This is the second book I've read of hers, and she knows how to engage me!

What did I recently finish reading? I finished reading Seeker by Arwen Elys Dayton. I really liked it. There is a lot going on in this first book. The story is told from the POV of four different people, each with a back story, leading to an explosive ending. I'm looking forward to the next in the series!

What do I think I'll be reading next? I think I'll read All the Rage by Courtney Summers. But you never know, sometimes I change my mind! ;)

    1. Hi Sophia Rose! I just finished The Houseguest! It was good!
I think Seeker is a good story, and I think the next will be really good! I think what slows down book 1 is the back history of the 4 main characters. It's not bad, it's just a lot of info.

  2. I'd like to read 'The Houseguest', glad you're enjoying it, Candy. I just finished reading 'The Darcy Madness' which I really enjoyed and once I've done my review of that I need to start 'A Peculiar Connection' by Jan Hahn. Happy reading!

    1. Hi Ceri! Oh, I was loving The Houseguest, I didn't want to put it down. Then toward the end it kinda slowed down for me, but it was still really good! I liked that there was a little more angst in there than Green Card! :)

  3. I read The Houseguest a couple times when it was online, and I remember liking it pretty well.

I'm still in the middle of the A Fair Prospect trilogy and last night started reading Helen Halstead's Mr Darcy Presents his Bride. I needed a paperback to read while all my devices were charging! It's been on my bookshelf for ages so I figured why not. I think it's going to be very much a purist's dream. lol Next I want to read Dearest Friends. I keep fighting the urge to reread things (mostly Outlander and Dance The Tide, an online story that's super long).

    1. Hi Monica! I just checked, I have Mr. Darcy Presents his Bride on my bookshelf too! I have no idea if I've read it or not. I'm thinking I did, because back in the day I read pretty much all my books - that's all I had, and I couldn't get enough of D&E! LOL! But the book looks clean, so I can't tell and it's been too long for me to remember! ;)

Ooh, I had 'Outlander' in my hand at Costco today, but in the end I bought "Siege and Storm" and "Ruin and Rising"
