What Are You Reading? ~ Jan. 29, 2020

What are you Reading?  Let me know what your current read is, what you recently finished reading, and what you plan on reading next!

Current Read

I'm a little over halfway through Foul is Fair* by Hannah Capin. I can't really say how it's going. I love a good revenge story, but I'm not sure I like how Jade is going about it. Maybe as I read on, there will be a twist I didn't see coming.

Recently Finished

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban* by J.K. Rowling. I don't need to say anything here! It's just so good! :)

What's next?

I'll probably start Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire* by J.K. Rowling. :)

It looks like I've come back to my usual reading speed! Well, it was a great start to the new year! I'm ahead on my Goodreads reading challenge now. :) I still need to set up my Jane Austenesque Lovers TBR Challenge 2020 with Sophia Rose on Goodreads!

I hope you've had a good week! Be sure to share what you've been reading! Or any reading challenges you are doing this year.

  2. I imagine the darker themes of Hamlet would make that story not a very light read, but still interesting. LOL, can't go wrong with Harry Potter.

I'm listening to a retelling of Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None called In the Dark by Loreth Ann White and reading This Fallen Prey by Kelley Armstrong.

Yay, glad to have you joining us for the challenge, Candy!

    1. Hey there, Sophia Rose! Oh, yeah, darker themes for sure! It's a Macbeth retelling, but still. I finished it today, and it was good! There was a twist, and that made all the difference! Also, I wish I had a better knowledge of Macbeth before reading it. I picked up the copy of Macbeth I have and skimmed through it, and was like, "oh, ok! I get it!" Lol!

Both your books sound great! Especially "In the Dark"!

Yes! I've join the group. Now I need to introduce myself and pick my level. I'm slowly getting my challenges set up for this year. Last year I didn't get it together until May! Yikes! So, I'm doing MUCH better this year! ;) Thanks for stopping by!!
