W... W... W... Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by MizB of Should be Reading. To play along, just answer the following questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you'll read next?
What did I recently finish reading? I finished His Uncle's Favorite by Lory Lilian. I loved it! It's now up there amongst my favorite P&P variations! I'm posting a review on Monday.
What do I think I'll be reading next? I think I will read From This Day Forward - The Darcys of Pemberley by Joana Starnes. This is a Pride and Prejudice sequel. I'm looking forward to it!
What are you reading?
Love Pride and Prejudice, but have never tried a sequel! Here's my link http://wp.me/p32hC2-g0
ReplyDeleteHi bibliobeth! I think you should give it a try sometime! ;) Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI've seen Dare You To around a lot. I need to find out more about it.
ReplyDeleteIt's the 2nd in the Pushing the Limits series. They are pretty much stand alone, but I would read Pushing the Limits first. ;) They are edgy teen romance novels. Very good!
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
I'm reading a cozy mystery, Button and Bones, by Monica Ferris. I recently finished The Christmas Guest by Anne Perry. I've been reading a Lory Lilian book, Rainy Days, for a long time. The print is sooo small so I can't read too much of it. Sometimes I read Austen sequels, but mostly mysteries. Not sure what I'll read next, maybe a library book. I have one checked out that I think is called Die Buying, a mall cop mystery by Laura DiSilverio.
ReplyDeleteOh, it's too bad the print in Rainy Days is too small for you to read comfortably. It's one of my favorite P&P variations! Have you read any Regina Jeffers' P&P mysteries? Like The Phantom of Pemberley or The Disappearance of Georgiana Darcy? I haven't read her new one yet, but the title has me curious...The Mysterious Death of Mr. Darcy. My TBR stack is so high!! It makes me feel so behind on my reading when I think about it.
DeleteI'm still hoping to read the rest of Mr Darcy's Noble Connections soon - I've been in such a funky mood lately I just can't relax and sink into any story. I've got so many to choose from that I honestly have no idea what my next read would be. I read the first few chapters of Joana Starnes' s story online and liked it pretty well. I had noticed that it hadn't been updated in awhile and then I happened to stumble across it on Amazon and was like ok! that's why!
ReplyDeleteHey Monica! I hope you get out of your reading slump soon! Both you and Ceri! :) I've just started From This Day Forward, so I don't have an opinion on it yet.
