What are you Reading? ~ February 17, 2016

What are you Reading?  Let me know what your current read is, what you recently finish reading, and what you plan on reading next!

Here's my list:

I'm currently reading Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. I'm reading this with the Dystopia Reading Challenge group on Goodreads. I've just started, but it's good so far!

I didn't post last week, so this is what I've finished in the last two weeks.

I finished reading Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire by J.K. Rowling. I loved it! I'm looking forward to reading the next in the series, but I also wanted to do the group read. Plus, I've challenged myself to read each Uppercase book before the next book arrived. Which I did....

because I also finished Truthwitch: A Witchlands Novel by Susan Dennard. I enjoyed this book! It took a while to get into because of the world building and the multiple POVs, but once that was straight, it was really good. I'm looking forward to the next in the series!

What's up next? I hope to start Denial of Conscience: A Modern Darcy and Elizabeth Adventure by Cat Gardiner. I'm ready for a Pride and Prejudice retelling! :)

    1. Hi, Sophia Rose! Yes, I think so! ;) I'm reading through the Harry Potter series for the first time. I really don't know what took me so long!! All I can say is that I wasn't much of a reader when it first came out. I did buy the first book, but my kids didn't really like it. They weren't big readers. But when my fourth child picked it up she loved it and insisted I buy the rest of the series. And she kept encouraging me to read them too. I'm glad she did. I love that she's a reader! I wonder, if I had been more of a reader (more excited about reading) back when my older kids were younger, would they be more into reading too? Interesting question. I did read to them every day went they were little.
