What are you Reading? Let me know what your current read is, what you recently finish reading, and what you plan on reading next!
I didn't post last week because nothing much changed from the week before. I was sucked into the show "13 Reasons Why" and I also volunteered at the LA Festival of Books. :) So, reading kinda fell by the wayside.
Here's my list:
I recently finished Leap of Hope by Shannon Winslow. I really enjoy this! I loved that Hope decided to go to 1809 to live! It was fun to see all the nods to Austen's books. I'm looking forward to reading Leap of Faith the first in the series!
I also finished reading Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard. Loved it!! I started listening to it while I was working out, but I ended up finishing by reading it. I find I can get into a story more by reading it than listening to it.
What's next? I'm not sure. I might continue with the Autumn series.

The weekend before the Festival, I met my friend, Meredith from Austenesque Reviews for the first time in person!
I had a very busy April!
So, tell me, what are you reading?

The book festival sounds so good, good work, you! :) I'm glad you liked Red Queen. I loved it too but was disappointed with the sequels :(
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lipsyy! It was the first time I volunteered at the book festival, but I will definitely do it again! :) Oh, I hope the sequels to Red Queen don't disappoint me! :/ Thanks for stopping by!!
DeleteI've heard The Red Queen is really good - glad you enjoyed!
ReplyDeleteHi, Brandie! Yes, it was really good! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteNeat that you got to volunteer at the book festival and meet authors and also other Janeites. Loved seeing that you, Dung, and Meredith had a chance to catch up.
ReplyDeleteGlad your recent books have all be really good. I'm listening to a sci-fi, The Myridian by RM Meluch and getting ready to start reading My Jane Austen Summer by Cindy Jones.
Hi-ya, Sophia Rose! It was fun volunteering! Dung asked me to volunteer with her, she's done it for the past couple of years. I'm so glad she did! I would definitely do it again. And I'm soooo glad to have met Meredith! Awesome!
DeleteThe Myridian looks fun! I see on Goodreads that you enjoyed it! That's good. I hope you like My Jane Austen Summer! I haven't read that one.
Thanks for stopping by! I was away for a long weekend, or I would have replied sooner! :)
