Wow! I didn't realize it was Wednesday! Well, better late than never, right? 

Here's my list: 

Reading

I'm currently reading A Short Period of Exquisite Felicity by A D'Orazio. I love it so far!  I won this book from the Meryton Press Facebook page. Yay! 

I haven't finished Emma by Jane Austen. I need to get on that, my book group meeting is coming up soon! (this is a reread for me)

I also haven't finished The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang, and I don't think I will. Too much sex for me, and I'm not sure I'm buying that Stella gets over her aversion to being touched as quickly as she seems to in this story.







Finished

I recently finished listening to This Too is Love by Anya Monroe. What a fabulous story! It was an emotional and touching journey in the life of a pregnant teenage girl. 4.5 stars

I also finished listening to Kissing Under the Mistletoe by Marina Adair. This was a fun Christmas romance, and a great way to pass the time while I was traveling! 4 stars

And I finished A Danger to Herself and Others by Alyssa Sheinmel. I enjoy this one too! I'm going to review this one if I can find the time! I'm doing a lot of traveling this month.







What's next? I'm not sure! :)

Here's my list:

I'm currently reading Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. I'm really enjoying it! It's nothing like what I thought it would be.  Frankenstein has remorse for what he's done, and the creature is very intelligent. I'm close to the end, so I should be finished by tonight or tomorrow.

I recently finished reading Summer of Scandal by Syrie James. I enjoyed it! I should have a review up soon.  ~ 4 stars. 

What's next? I'm not sure. Maybe another good October read would be Only The Dead Don't Die by A.D Popovich. Love this cover! We have company this weekend, and I need something I can read on my Kindle Fire in the dark after everyone else is asleep. -- I turn off the blue light. Does anyone else do that?

Here's my list:

I'm currently re-reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling. We had the marathon of Harry Potter movies on over the weekend, and I decided I must re-read the series. Of course, I'm enjoying it! ;)





I've also been listening to some audiobooks while I'm still working on the outside of the house. (The roofer finally came, and now I'm working on the boards they had to replace.) Currently, I'm listening to Rumours & Recklessness by Nicole Clarkston.  Just started it, but love where it's headed! 





I recently finished listening to Playing for Love in Deep Haven by Katy Regnery. I love a good story about college love that ends badly then reconnects years later. 

I also finished listening to A Life, Refined by Tracy Hewitt Meyer. A gritty and emotional YA about a girl dealing with the guilt of being the one responsible for the death of her baby brother. I enjoy it!





What's next? I know I want to continue through the Harry Potter series. So, I'll probably read Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling.

Here's my list:

I'm still reading Windfall by Jennifer E. Smith. It's good, I just haven't had time to read it. I've been getting up early to work on the outside of my house (scraping, patching, and painting) and I'm pretty tired at night, so I'm not reading much. 

But, I have been listening to an audiobook while working on the outside of my house, and just finished listening to The Abominable Mr. Darcy by J. Dawn King. It was very good! In this retelling, I loved that Col. Fitzwilliam was with Bingley and Darcy when they first arrived at Netherfield. 

What's next? I downloaded a couple more Audible's that I found on sale, so I'm thinking about listening to Playing for Love in Deep Haven (formerly After We Break) by Katy Regnery.
