What Are You Reading? ~ January 11, 2016

What are you Reading?  Let me know what your current read is, what you recently finish reading, and what you plan on reading next!

Here's my list:

The holidays are over. It's back to reality, and back to my normal reading speed. {{sad face}} I did enjoy the days just lounging around not doing much, but reading or watching TV. It was fabulous!

I haven't started anything new, but I'm now reading An Inconvenient Ward by Audrey Harrison instead of listening to it. I'm not as far into it as I thought, but I am enjoying it!

No progress in A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin this week.

I've finished reading two books, Ashen Winter and Sunrise by Mike Mullin the second and third book of the Ashfall series. I love the series, and it looks like there will be a fourth book! I can't wait!

What's next? I still want to read Unwind by Neal Shusterman.

  1. I got a few extra days of non-reality to soak up books when we got snow days, but yes, it's back to reality. :) Yay that you wrapped up the Mike Mullen trilogy. I'm excited there will be a book four, too. Did you know there is a little ebook novella from Darla's POV for book one? I need to get that one, too.

I just finished Darcy's Hope: Beauty from Ashes and now I'm listening to Susanna Kearsley's Every Secret Thing.

    1. Hi, Sophia Rose! Yay for snow days! Lol! It's raining a lot here, but no snow for us.

Yes! 'Ashfall' was an easy series to read quickly - since I couldn't put it down! So good. I did think that book 2 was a little over the top, but I still enjoyed it. I loved how they got the wind turbines working. Very smart. Yes, I saw that there's a novella for Darla! I might have to read it, too. :)

'Darcy's Hope' looks really good! Sounds like it might leave you with a big cliffhanger, though. I hope you enjoy 'Every Secret Thing'! Have a great week!

  2. My husband devoured the Unwind series if that's any indication of them being good, haha. He went out and bought the rest of the series after finishing the first. Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!

    1. Hey, Sam! Yes! That makes me want to read it even more knowing that it's so good! Thanks! I'll probably have to buy the rest as soon as I'm done with the first, too! Lol! Have a great week!
