What Are You Reading? ~ Oct 18, 2017

What are you Reading?  Let me know what your current read is, what you recently finish reading, and what you plan on reading next!

Wow! It's been a while since I've posted my Wednesday meme! I've been super busy, but I'm back! :)

Here's my list:

I'm currently reading The Goodness of Men by Anngela Schroeder. I'm enjoying it! I'm only about a quarter through so I can't really say too much  yet.

I recently finished Anyone? by Angela Scott. Loved it! I love post-apocalyptic/survival stories, and this was a good one.

I also finished A Storm of Swords by George R.R. Martin! Yay! Oh, but man, it dropped a bomb on the last page! So, now I want to jump into the next book. Haha! I was going to take a break from the series.

And before that, I finished These Dreams: A Pride & Prejudice Variation by Nicole Clarkson. This was really good too - intense with a lot of angst! Also, it's a long book at 732 pages.

What's next? I'm not sure, but I'll let you know! ;)

I was at the JASNA AGM earlier this month. You can see my pictures on So little time's Facebook page! It was a blast!

I hurt my back on Monday. :( I can't sit at my desk for too long. I've been laying on a heating pad for two days now, but I am feeling much better. I'm going to keep resting it. Have a great week!

So, tell me, what are you reading?

  1. I just finished "Compromised" by Joy Dawn King. I picked up an eBook when it was free on Amazon. Delightful story and one I would like to recommend. Tender moments combined with many comic scenes.

    1. Hello, Jen! I think I picked "Compromised" up when it was free too! Now I need to read it! Good to know you enjoyed it! :) Thanks!

  2. Looks like you've had some interesting reading recently! I hope it continues!

    1. Thanks, Chrissi! I hope so too! All this laying around has definitely helped me get through some books. :) So, that's the silver-lining to hurting my back. lol

      Happy reading!

  3. It probably felt like a huge feat to finish the George Martin and the Nicole Clarkston with all those pages. LOL Both your others look pretty good, too. I still need to read Nicole's and Anngela's.

I just finished Louis L'Amour's Lost Treasures and listening to Alex, Actually by Jenn Bennett. I'm in the middle of Abounding Might by Melissa McShane.

    1. Lol, Sophia Rose! No kidding! It felt like quite an accomplishment! Being the slow reader I am, and A Storm of Swords' doesn't flow easily, I thought I'd never get through it! haha! And yes, I didn't realize 'These Dreams' was so long until I started reading it! But it was so good, and it flowed well! ;)

I haven't read any by Louis L'Amour but I've thought about it. Picked one up recently - I should read it. Ooh, I just read what you posted on FB about 'Alex, Actually', and immediately added it to my Goodreads "want to read" list. Thanks for pointing it out! :) I hope you enjoy "Abounding Might"!

Good to have you back! :)

  4. I haven't read any of these. I hope your back feels better and you enjoy your books! Have a great weekend!

    1. Hello, FBC! They were all pretty good! Thanks, my back is feeling much better - about 90%. Although, I think I may have over worked it today trying to get some housework done that I've neglected. :/ I hope you have a great weekend also! Thanks for stopping by!
